Last updated: October 3, 2026. This policy explains what information Baryames Cleaners (“Baryames,” “we,” “us”) collects when you use baryamescleaners.com, our customer portal and app, our text messages, and our stores, and how we use it.
Who we are
Baryames Cleaners is a family-owned dry cleaning and laundry business with 11 stores in Greater Lansing, Michigan. Our main office is at 2423 S. Cedar St, Lansing, MI 48910. You can reach us at (517) 484-8900 or customerservice@baryamescleaners.com.
Information you give us
Contact and quote forms. When you send a message or request a business quote on our website, we receive the name, email address, phone number, organization and message you enter. Forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to help distinguish people from automated traffic. Cloudflare processes technical signals, including IP address and browser information, for this purpose and to improve bot detection. See the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum. Submissions are emailed to our customer service and business teams so we can respond to your request and provide any services you ask for.
Pickup and delivery accounts. Our customer accounts, route signup and mobile app run on CustomerConnect, a service provided by SPOT Business Systems (MyDryCleaner.com). When you create an account you provide your name, mobile phone, email address, a password and, to set up service, your pickup address and payment details. Payment information is handled through the customer portal and its payment providers. Please do not send card numbers through our website contact forms. Tailoring appointments. Fitting appointments are booked through Acuity Scheduling (a Squarespace company). When you book, you provide your name, phone number, email address and appointment details so your tailor can prepare for your visit and we can contact you about the appointment. In store. When you drop off an order we record your name and phone number so we can identify your items and let you know when they are ready.
Text messages
If you opt in to text messages, we may text you about your service: route reminders and pickup confirmations, order-ready notices, and invitations to leave a review after a visit. Message frequency varies with your orders. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. We do not sell your number or share mobile opt-in information with third parties for their own marketing. Service providers may process this information to deliver messages for us.
If you join our email list, we send weekly specials and news through iContact. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you at any time.
Information collected automatically
Our website uses Google Analytics 4, Google Ads and Google Tag Manager. These services use cookies and similar identifiers to measure how visitors use the site (pages viewed, buttons clicked, approximate location, device and browser) and to measure and improve our advertising, including showing Baryames ads to people who have visited our site. These reports help us understand website activity and advertising results. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can opt out of personalized Google ads at adssettings.google.com and install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Our web host also keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.
How we use information
We use the information above to provide and schedule our services, communicate with you about orders and appointments, answer your questions, send specials you have asked for, keep our website and accounts secure, measure and improve our website and advertising, and meet legal and accounting obligations.
How we share information
We do not sell customer contact lists. We share information with service and technology providers that help us run the business: SPOT Business Systems (accounts, routes and payments), Acuity Scheduling (appointments), Cloudflare (form protection), Google (analytics and advertising), iContact (email), our text messaging provider, and our web hosting and email providers. Some technology providers also process information under their own privacy policies, including for the analytics and advertising described above. We may also share information when the law requires it or to protect our customers, staff and business.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, stop texts by replying STOP, unsubscribe from emails with the link in any message, and manage cookies in your browser settings. Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 online.
